Life under capitalism means that our day to day is full of hardship. We are pressured to conform to the dominant social order in every aspect of our lives down to how we dress, how we put food on the table, who we kiss. We watch our friends and comrades get locked up, murdered by the police, consumed by drugs, and overcome with grief and depression, as we fight to survive.
Individual growth and struggle is important, but creating alternatives means making connections with each other and fostering trust and mutual support together. Each bond we make breaks down the isolation and tragedy we face each day. This means having each others backs, be it in our kitchens or out in the streets, struggling through heartbreak or fighting the police. Let's take care of each other so we can create together, so we can fight together.
